Audit Logs

HANK Claim Maker keeps both batch level and case level audit logs. Watch the video below to learn more, or read the text below to find out how to access the audit logs.

To access a batch level audit log…

1. Select a batch
2. Click the More Actions 3 dot menu in the Batch Pane
3. Select Audit Log

You can then toggle between only seeing batch state changes, case state changes for the whole batch worth of cases, or all of them together. There is also an option to export this log

To access a case level audit log…

1. Select the case
2. Click the More Actions 3 dot menu in the Cases Pane
3. Select Audit Log

There is an option to export the case audit log in the audit log pane.

To export multiple batches worth of audit logs…

Go to the Admin view

1. Select the Batches for export
2. Click the 'Export' button
3. Select 'Export Audit logs for selected batches'

This sample shows an exported audit log. The file name follows the pattern facility_batch#_DOS_audit_log.xlsx.

Actions added in Claim Maker 3.0

Claim Maker 3.0 expanded the audit log to give broader visibility into key system activities. The system now records four more action types:

• Batch Exports. Logs when a batch is exported, including who started the export and when it occurred.
• Case Creation. Captures the creation of new manual cases, so there is a clear record when cases enter the system.
• Case Duplication. Captures the duplication of a case, so there is a clear record of when a case was duplicated.
• Case Deletion. Tracks when cases are deleted, for full accountability and historical traceability.
